Growing Wild Forest School Tree Weave
As a company that takes pride in creating beautiful spaces for people to enjoy the outdoor world, Tree Weaves is always thrilled when we get the opportunity to do an installation with the purpose of enriching the lives of children. Our hope with the Growing Wild Forest School Tree Weave is that this net will encourage kids at the school to appreciate and fall in love with being out in nature and amongst the trees.
This tree net serves as a dynamic outdoor playground with a bouncy and vibrant main floor. The school has also added swings hanging from the underside of the net to enhance the experience for the students. Tree weave installations, such as this one, can help kids stay active in a fun and exciting environment as well as improve the development of motor skills.
The Growing Wild Forest school is an independent outdoor preschool located in Asheville, North Carolina. Their purpose is to provide a small group of youngsters with an outdoor education that includes recognizing plants and animals, with an emphasis on simply being present outside. The school has no buildings; when the weather is rough, they rough it out under a tarp, with a fire. We built a pretty cool Tree Weave for them. It needs a couple updates, but the kids are enjoying it thoroughly already. They refer to it lovingly as “The Trampoline.”
